About Siddhavaidyam

Siddha system of medicine, the oldest medical system known, is one among indian system of medicine. The origin of the medical system is almost 20000 years back, which has evolved along the oldest Dravidon civilisation of the oldest language Tamil.

The knowledge of Siddha system is thought to be originated from Siva, which was sequentially passed to Parvathy, Nandeeswarar then Agasthyar and many siddhas. The system has a strong spiritual base and includes many specialities including Yoga, Medicine, Alchemy, Manthrakay siddhis, Astronomy, Kayakalpa, Naadi, Varma etc.
